What if the history you were taught is only part of the story?

From the fall of Jerusalem to the Transatlantic Slave Trade, The Children of God examines the proposed connection between melanated people today and the ancient Israelites described in Scripture.

Drawing from the 1611 King James Bible, this documentary explores historical events, biblical passages, migration, identity, and the legacy of a people whose story may have been misunderstood, overlooked, or forgotten.

Prepare to question familiar narratives, examine the evidence for yourself, and consider a perspective rarely presented in mainstream discussions of biblical history.

The Children of God invites viewers to look deeper, study the Scriptures, and reconsider what they have been taught about history, identity, and the descendants of ancient Israel.
